Out on the town

Home safe and sound from a beautiful day out seeing historic Roma! We hopped on the metro at the end of our block (which was SOOO easy to navigate) and started off at the Spanish steps. The plaza was so cool and the steps were huge - quite the workout going up each individual one!

After that we did some shopping, but i didn't end up buying anything. We also enjoyed Italian pizza which was good but damn - they weren't kidding when they say they give you an entire pie! Good thing I didn't eat the whole thing - I probably would've exploded! After that we walked off some calories by exploring the shops on the streets and seeing various tourists sites. Just as the sun set, we were standing by the ruins and the Coloseum and wow was that beautiful!

Words nor pictures can do justice to the sheer beauty of these attractions. I couldn't stop thinking of how the sites must have looked 2,000 years ago during the Roman empire. It was simply breathtaking.

My goal is to learn some Italian before dinner so that I can make due with ordering! Arrivederci
