Brittany and I went on a voyage to find a cheap, italian style sandwich shop... needless to say we were unsuccessful because it was 10 pm and everything local closes very early. We ended up at Mondo Aracina, a local take quick bite known for their Sicilian arancina (fried rice balls), pane e panelle (fried fritters made from chickpea flour), and pizza by the slice. We decided to get a variety of items and share so we can try everything :) For €8,0 we ended up with two potato sticks (not sure what they were called?), a spicy aracina with chile pepper sauce, and a slice of Sicilian margarita pizza (Yes, pizza...again). As far as taste goes - let's just say I almost didn't get a chance to take a picture of it because we were too busy stuffing our faces haha!
